Admissions Procedure Policy

1. The enrollment process will be completed once all the required documents and school fees are submitted.

2. All new applications must be completed and communicated to the teacher at least 2 working days before the intended start date. For example, if you complete your child's application and pay the fees before or on Thursday at 12 pm, your child will be able to start school the following Monday. However, if school fees are paid after Thursday at 12 pm, your child will start school the week after next Monday.

3. All new students will be able to start school on Monday or the beginning of the week only.

PBISS International School does not offer refunds for clothing, activities or school supplies.

Admissions Fee

Admissions fee is payable once only when the offer of placement is made and non-refundable.

Single term payments

PBISS International School does not offer refunds for a single term payment.

Multiple term payments

If a payment of more than one term has been made then a refund will only be offered if the following terms have been met:

1. Notice, in writing, has been received by the school at least a full school term in advance. If this requirement is not met than a term, fees will be held by the school as a penalty.

2. The school finds reasonable groups for a refund to be offered

3. There are no outstanding payments for the school year to be made; i.e. exam payment, school uniforms, after school clubs etc.

4. The payment has not already been authorized as non-refundable.

5. No visa has been issued to the child or parent through the school. If a visa has been issued there will be a fine of 15,000 THB for each visa issued.

6. Any discount from making a yearly payment will be rescinded in the case of a refund; changes for previous terms will be charged at the full rate. Any refund for a payment made by a credit or debit card will be subject to 3% deduction.

For example:

John has paid for two children to attend PBISS. He makes the following payment in the summer holidays.

During Term 1 John finds out that he has to move back home and informs the school. He gives a full terms notice, in writing, and informs the school that he will be leaving in April (Term 1). The school considers his request and offers a refunds

- For Child A: 278,000(paid amount) - 160,000 (two terms at full price) - 50,000(admissions fee) = 68,000THB,

- For Child B: 188,900(paid amount) - 120,000 (two terms at full price) - 35,000(admissions fee) = 33,900THB,

Total refund of 68,000 + 33,900 = 101,900THB.

If John had to leave in January he would not receive the same refund due to a terms penalty being incurred for not giving the school a full terms notice.

If John and his children had received visas through the school he would have to deduct 45,000 THB from the total.

* A full term is a calendar school term, notice must be made before a term begins to count as prior. If the decision to authorise a refund has been made, it will take a minimum of 14 days before any payment is refunded. For refund, the school will not pay the transfer / transaction fee.

I understand that it can take up to eight weeks for PBISS International School to attain accident Insurance cover for my child, I also understand that until I receive the Insurance card from the Insurance company, my child will have no accident insurance coverage.

If an accident occurs before the accident insurance period begins, I will either provide my own Insurance cover or pay the cost of any hospital bill Insurance. I also understand that PBISS International School will not be liable for my associate cost in this period.

The accident insurance covers a full year, if a student continues to learn at PBISS, their cover will be reviewed upon expiration.
