EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES (ECAs)
Our range of activities are provided onsite either after school or at weekends. All activities are designed to engage students in key areas in which they wish to explore or further develop their skills. The activities include but are not limited to a range of sports such as football and swimming; STEM+ activities such as Robotics Club, Coding Club and Science Club; arts and crafts activities; and the school Drama Club.
We have found that participation in these activities aids students’ engagement with the learning process as well as helps to identify particular areas of personal interest.
21st-Century Skills
As equipping students with 21st-century skills is our responsibility, PBISS is now proud to offer new STEM+ ECA clubs for our students, the Robotics Club, and the Coding Club. Club members will acquire 21st-century skills while participating in creative projects. They will follow globally acclaimed development programs under the supervision of our qualified teachers.
CODING CLUB
- Learn to code using Minecraft education and scratch to develop 21st language computing skills.
LEGO ROBOTICS
- SPIKE Prime continuously engages students through playful learning activities to think critically and solve complex problems, regardless of their learning level.
STEM+CLUB
- STEM+ Clubs are a powerful and enjoyable way to engage young people with science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) subjects.
BOARD GAMES CLUB
- Expand your critical thinking with interactive board games directed by PBISS teachers.
SCIENCE CLUB
- Taking part in a science club is a wonderful way for children to engage with science from an early age. It gives them an introduction to scientific methods, helps them to develop a love of science and can give them the confidence to continue studying science further up their schooling.
COOKING CLUB
- Become a PBISS Master Chef with our cooking clubs - From Thai Chilli Pastes to take home snacks and meals cooking club gives real life skills to our students.
THAI TALE READING (IN THAI LANGUAGE)
- Learn about Thai myths and legends with our Thai Tale Club.
ART AND CRAFT CLUB
- Become the next great artist and inventor in PBISS arts and craft clubs.
PRODUCT DESIGN
- Design and build new products using autocad and 3d printing.
PBISS NEWSPAPER
- Become a budding journalist as we work on our very own PBISS Times: Photography, reporting and graphic design are all skills we will learn together.
HISTORY STEM+CLUB
- Why just read about history when we can create it - From model making to making ancient manuscripts PBISS History STEM+ club brings history to life.
BANANA LEAF FOLDING
- Learn the ancient art of banana leaf folding, create beautiful and practical works of art - Origami with banana leaves.
THAI HISTORY AND GEOGRAPHY
- Learn all about the amazing kingdom of Thailand, with its unique geography and in depth history.
INTRODUCTION TO FRENCH LANGUAGE
- Learn French language for beginners.
LANGUAGE SUPPORT
- These ECA are for select students. We will contact all parents to see if you are interested.
SPORTS AND ACTIVITY CLUBS
- From Football and Basketball to Mini Muay Thai and PBISS Swim Team our students get to participate in an extensive range of outdoor clubs and activities.
SCOUTS
- A program with an emphasis on practical outdoor activities, including camping, woodcraft, aquatics, hiking, backpacking, and sports.
